Bugle Rock Garden, Bangalore
About Bugle Rock Garden
Termed as walkers’ paradise and often used as a picnic spot, this place is a history in itself. The rock in the garden is one of the oldest rock formations in the world (as old as the rock in Lalbagh) and was used by the Kempe Gowda II, the erstwhile ruler of Bangalore, to build one of the four watchtowers during the feudal wars. One of the interesting fact of this place is that most of the rocks here are hollow and were used as lamps in olden days.
