Sankey Tank, Bangalore

About Sankey Tank

This 37.5 acres manmade lake is built in 1882 and named after its constructor Col. Richard Hieram Sankey. It has now become a regular stroll around and hang-out spot, thanks to the boating facility. Apart from the calm and pleasing ambience created by the trees surrounding it and birds chirping, you can spot many migratory birds during winter.
