Kamala Nehru Park, Mumbai

About Kamala Nehru Park

It is located in Malabar hills and is probably one of the favorite parks among kids. This 4000 sq. feet lush green and well maintenaned park is named after Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s wife, Kamala Nehru and is located on top of Malabar hills. Hence it  has a cool atmosphere contrary to the city. The park houses an exhaustive range of flowers and they along with green lawns make the place an ideal picnic spot. This park is considered as a favorite respite from the humidity of the Mumbai city while offering a spectacular view of Chowpatty Beach and Marine Drive.

It is most famous for its boot house which is very popular among kids. This boot-house is inspired from a nursery rhyme, “There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe”. The designers and the builder here have done an exceptional job depicting the house of the old woman.
