About National Art Gallery

Constructed in the Indo-Sarsenic architectural style using the red stones, this is one of the oldest art galleries of the country (established in 1906). The gallery houses the paintings of Raja Ravi Verma, one of the prominent painters of India. It also displays paintings of Mugul and Tanjore time.
