Chickmaglur is located in the western region of Karnataka. The literal translation of the word in Kannada is          “ town of the younger daughter”. This town was a gift given to the youngest daughter of Rukmandha who is the chief of Sakrepanta. The place looks more like an art created in the mountainous background which is hidden full of surprises. There is nothing that is lacking in this location. Tourists have lots of wonderful things to look at like the beautiful mountains, historical temples and wildlife sanctuaries. The major tourist spot in this place is Kemmangudi that is surrounded with beautiful gardens and valleys which is a real treat to the eye.
