Madikeri, Karnataka

About Madikeri

Madikeri is filled with the fragrance of coffee, the flavors of pepper, and cardamom. The river Cauvery keeps the place cool and refreshing. Now, I get the exact reason why the British people preferred to stay here for such a long time. The beautiful waterfalls that are located between the coffee plantations and spice estates that joins at the foot of the river Cauvery. The water falling on the rocks makes it more attractive. The water flow in this place is high during the monsoon season and gets completely dry during summer. Recently the falls have been upgraded with a hanging bridge that gives a good view of the falls. Winter would be an apt time to visit the place. Travelers who plan to visit the place would really enjoy it during this season.
